Project Description: Hilton Worldwide Enterprise Data Warehouse EDW initiative is to improve overall Data Quality and Productivity of existing processes to deploy reliable and accurate information. Project Description: EPA started a major initiative in 2010 to replace several systems with a web based, single sign on application -- Superfund Enterprise Management System SEMS . It was using three primary application systems, the Comprehensive Environmental Response and Compensation Liability System CERCLIS , the Superfund Document Management System SDMS , and the Institutional Controls Tracking System ICTS . Besides these 3 systems, there are approximately forty other IT systems to manage Superfund activities nationwide.

Accomplishments: Successfully completed Data migration / Data conversion effort by leading the whole ETL effort including installation of Informatica products, Setting up ETL environment/ Coding guidelines, Data Analysis/Profiling, ETL development, QA test process, ETL code deployment process and deliverables SDD, VDD, Architecture plan . Coordinated three major production releases including the final release in Dec 2013. I have developed around 130 ETL mappings and 35 Oracle Stored procedures. The main goal of this effort was to migrate trusted data by performing data conversion and improve data quality addressed duplicates, orphan/ invalid data, standardize, NULL values etc.. with the help of new mapping rules and constraints on target tables to restrict bad data coming into the database thru' new application. Currently, working on enhancements and maintenance of ETL code and providing ETL development training.

INFORMATICA ETL DEVELOPMENT
