  • Designed, developed and implemented the Special Calls system to assist BOE customers in obtaining non-confidential account information. This system is based on several COBOL programs on A-15 side, VC - MS SQL Server Special Call System, and MS Excel workbooks on PC workstations. Special Call System is used to download data from Unisys A-15, and upload them into MS SQL Server database. Using information stored in MS SQL Server, this system can generate user-defined forms, print account information, and create Avery labels and letters. Also it can be used to dump account information on tapes, disks, and floppies.
  • Using VB Extra for IBM and VC++ 6.0, Designed, developed and implemented a VC++ file transfer process to allow Visual Basic applications on PC workstations connect to IBM mainframe. This process supports logins on IBM, sending/receiving files, and logoffs from IBM mainframe in fully automated mode. It consists of one VC++ module, which can be included in any VB applications. VB application can fill a request file and call a VC method to initiate the file transfer process. A file presence on IBM triggers a COBOL program, which extracts data and sends them back to VB application.
  • Designed, developed and implemented the BT-530 system to allow auditors analyze and maintain downloaded information on their workstations. The first version was designed using VB 3.0 for Windows 3.11 then BT-530 system was converted for Windows 95 using VB 5.0. BT-530 system can request and obtain information from BOE Registration System through the file transfer process. Received data is uploaded into MS SQL Server. Users can work with received Registration information using Visual Basic application, print several forms by BT-530 system, and analyze data using MS Excel.
  • Designed, developed and implemented Windows 95 version of the BT-1210 print system. It allows auditors print notices and letters on their workstations. BT-1210 can request, obtain, and update requested data using the file exchange process. MS Access is used as local database. Also BT-1210 is used to generate forms and notices based on received data and user's status.
