SQL Server Developer
- For the Confidential, SQL Server 2005 confidential developer working as a member of a team supporting the city’s financial systems.
- I developed 6 reports from scratch, 6-8 where additional functionality was added.
- Added prompts so that an entire report would not execute each time it was selected.
- Built several SSIS packages from scratch, tested them, then scheduled them to run on a production server.
- Developed a drill down report that would roll up all purchases for a given fiscal month within a given fiscal year for city credit card vendors.
- Developed 2 SSRS matrix reports for the capital improvements team that required data from an enormous view. When the query to retrieve the data was executed from within the report, the report timed out, so I built a table from the original query that read the large view and used the table as input for the report greatly improving response time. Both of these reports were generated from Access databases requiring a great deal of my boss’s time before I was tasked with converting them to SSRS.
