Confidential

Tech Lead engineer

Technologies: 4G.,2G,3G,WiFi, Confidential, IPME

Tools: Landslide

Environment: Neo Zone Consumer and enterprise zone, Sundance, ASE of Confidential lab

Responsibilities:

  • Design a call flow to realize WiFi calling.
  • The plan is to establish an IPSec tunnel between a simulated UE and Confidential using IKEv2. Both SHA1 and 2 are used for Authentication and AES-128 for Encryption.
  • Using NDR (design) documents, Confidential model script are designed to validate vendor’s benchmark values. All mobility scenarios in a real network are converted using a simulation tool- Landslide. The following interfaces are validated and made sure to work properly per 3gpp spec: S1-MME, S1-U, S11, S5, Gx, S6a/d, Gx, and Sy before the model is automated and run. During this time all relevant IEs are checked to be in place to make the operation of all identified interfaces smooth
  • Uses 3gpp Spec guidelines extensively and compliance is strictly followed including customer- centered implementations:
  • Integrating Landslide simulated OCS, to PGW and PCRF for simulating Gy and Sy interfaces
  • Throughput values, error codes, CPU values at max capacity, transaction rates and SAU values are taken as KPI values and provided to the customer for comparison
  • NAS protocols over S1AP are checked to verify that all encryption and integrity algorithms and all other pertinent information are included correctly
