  • I incorporated a Project Plan to upgrade TWS 8.5 to IWS 9.3 fp02 in a RHEL/Solaris environment while also adding High Availability backup for the Master Domain Manager and the DB2 database.
  • I instructed the ETL admins on the usage of TWS for Datastage/Pentaho jobs and created shell wrapper scripts in order to transfer UNIX cron jobs to the TWS environment.
  • I incorporated alerting and monitoring using a combination of TDWC rules and log file monitoring via Zenoss.
  • I held weekly meetings to ensure timelines were met and expectations were managed with the customer. The last phase of the project consisted of the Operations Team and the ETL Admins in the use of the Dynamic Workload Scheduler as a replacement for the old JSC.

  • I lead a team of contractors in converting the monitoring environment from TEC 3.9 to using ITM 6.2 and Netcool/Omnibus.
  • The conversion also moved architecture from AIX to RHEL. Constant modifications and upgrades were completed in order to meet the requirements of various service organizations within the company.
  • Integration between the MOM ( TEC/NetCool) was switched from Remedy ARS to ServiceNow during the conversion.
