Manage the implementation of the first master data hub for customer, vendor, and product, within a larger program that is merging two new companies into VF, upgrading SAP, and implementing SOA.
Work closely with the MDM vendor and the SOA team on data architecture, design, and business rule efforts.
Prioritize change requests, determine associated design changes, and coordinate with the various teams on MDM updates and releases to keep all components in synch.
Leading the effort to establish Master Data Governance and Stewardship, collaborating with IT and business people to determine the initial structure, roles, and participants.
