• dis is BPM based application built on Appian suite and is about collecting insurance premiums & managing workflow cases from AIG customers within AMER, APAC & EMEA region. It includes multiple brokers, insured, re - insured, business partners and underwriters interactive with in-country & share services teams to manage the workflow.
• System pulls data from multiple third-party systems like SAP, DMS, WTS, AS-400 using ETL jobs & Apian scheduler processes into staging tables which is followed by creating actual workflow cases using given set of business rules from specified book of business-like Loss Collections, Guaranteed Cost, MGA, Aerospace, Canada-Multinational etc. Once cases are created, those are automatically assigned to appropriate business users from various teams in round robin fashion to evenly distribute the work load & few cases are also closed if related policies are paid in full.
• Application has various teams like cash application team, receivable management team, legal bankruptcy team and multiple roles like managers, processors, collectors & legal staff users for 200+ users. It also provides ability for super users to configure specific users into system. System provides one stop platform for these collection staff users to view cases assigned to themselves & others as well. Case summary dashboard provide multiple options like Take Action, Update Details, View/Upload share-point documents, View Audit details, View/Push SAP notes etc. System also uses RPA BOT to do certain set of activities like interacting with legacy systems such as AS400, live ledger etc. where Appian is not able reach.
• me worked as Appian BPM architect for dis project and was involved into it from beginning. With dis project me has got opportunity to work on data centric application spread across multiple regions with challenging set of business rules. me designed the framework for dis application which was used within its multiple modules TEMPeffectively & was firm enough to take care of multiple changes into requirements later.

Appian deals with huge number of claims received on daily basis and create workflow cases for the same. dis includes add, update & delete operations as few claims can be rejected by claims should lead to case closure into Appian. But if new claim is received, then system should create a case and assign to reviewer.
• Application receive data into oracle database stage table from a ETL job using data stage which is followed by a stored procedure call via Appian scheduler process to create/update workflow cases.
