Responsibilities:

  • Managed the design and development of the Roster Application Member Portal (RAMP) application for the Accountable Care Network division of UW Medicine. Duties on this project included gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders, the creation of a business & functional requirement documents. During the development phase, I managed the project developer & test resources within an agile environment. In UAT, responsibilities included Stakeholder reconciliation of any discrepancies between the stakeholders and the development teams.
  • Worked as the Release Manager for the production releases of all operational development within a waterfall TFS 2012 development environment. Responsibilities included Developer / QA capacity planning, prioritization of deliverables between Business Analysts and Stakeholders for a given release cycle.
  • Managed the successful transition of UW Medicine’s Web Technologies team from a waterfall on TFS 2012 to TFS 2017 within an agile development methodology. This included heavy workflow & requirement documentation for role specific duties related to pre, in and post sprint activities. Created Individual Request / Incident workflows for Business Analysts, .Net Developers, QA Testers and System’s Engineers.
  • Lead the procurement of a vendor selected to replace InfoPath within our SharePoint intranet environment. Duties included acting as primary contact for vendor candidates. Creation of a selection committee from a sampling of multiple departments/teams within UW Medicine. Demonstration facilitation between all vendors and the selection committee. Lead the technical evaluation between the selected vendor and UW Medicine’s Security, TSO-Windows, TSO-DB and Systems Engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary Lead on a team managing the Oklahoma Health Care Authority’s Title XIX Medicaid management web application O-EPIC. O-EPIC is the primary user interface which allows low income Oklahoma residents to apply for (determines eligibility) federal and state assistance on their insurance premiums. Duties included leading all operational / and change efforts related to maintaining the system per state and federal regulations. Work included business / functional requirement gathering to actual hands on development and environment migrations. Managed Incident and change workflow from development and UAT to Production, acting as the primary stakeholder contact.
  • Co-Lead (With 3 other Leads) a large development team working on the design, development and implementation of the Insure Oklahoma’s Employer Portal. This effort involved remotely leading analysts, developers, testers and stakeholders originating from 15 different states within the US. (Stakeholders primarily resided in Oklahoma). Duties included business requirement gathering, organizing those business requirements into blocks of functional requirements which were then assigned to multiple developers and testers. Co-Lead the User Acceptance Testing with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to a Production launch.
  • Lead a team to migrate HP’s homegrown Time Tracking System, from an existing vendor procured time tracking system. This Time Tracking System is used by all 150 HP resources working on the Oklahoma Medicaid account. This tool was used as the primary source of record for all billable time which was submitted to OHCA. Due to auditing concerns, decades of legacy data needed to be integrated into the new system for reporting purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Created the functional / technical requirement documentation for an enterprise level Online Directory, CMS, Discussions and Class Books Applications for 50 universities across the US, which included Stanford, Harvard and Northwestern Universities. The enterprise model of these systems would allow PCI to create one centralized application for each system, configurable for each specific Educational Institutions functional and branding requirements. Duties included requirements gathering and documentation, creating class / sequential diagrams along with functional workflows. Participated in designing a base database design for the online Directory along with the Application Architect and Lead .Net developers.
  • Managed development of both 5 internal resources and 11 overseas resources from Red Salsa (India). Responsibilities included insuring code integrity through source control, QA management / bug reporting, task assignment and tracking. Utilized Project Server to developed Project Plans and managed status reports.
