SUMMARY

• Serves as a dedicated Data Quality resource on the Sudoku supply chain project. Provides business oversight of all data profiling, scorecards
• Cleansing and migration activities that will occur during the project, working in partnership wif other project team members from Business, IT, external Integrator and SAP Sudoku external partner.
• Requires strong noledge of Informatica and data profiling
• Requires entry to mid - level noledge of the following systems:
• SAP product planning, material and sales data, Customer master data a plus

Responsibilities:

• Work closely wif the Sudoku Project Team, subject matter experts, and external partner(s) to develop the appropriate data model in relation to the Sudoku solution
• Ensure that data best practices, appropriate process controls and data controls are embedded into the design of the solution,
• Ensure that strategic data tools are leveraged for data profiling and Rule building,
• Help to ensure that the Solution Design fits wif approach to the strategic target data architecture,
• Identify opportunities for related projects to leverage tools, processes and controls, to save time, costs and reduce risks,
• Ensure any business process mapping conforms to the corporate standard, BPMN version 2.
• Work wif external technical partner to ensure completion of data profiling, analyze results, and perform gap analysis relative to agreed data model
• Ensure RACI matrix has been defined and agreed for both the project and post implementation production data management
• Create and execute a plan for data remediation to include agreed data and resource requirements
• Coordinate efforts and ensure timely progress for data preparation activities to identify, cleanse, and transfer specified product data from existing locations

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the appropriate controlled steps are planned and required data history is defined and managed
• Work wif external partner and subject matter experts to ensure appropriate test scripts for data migration are created and executed, wif any defects resolved
• Support post implementation hypercare activities relative to data
• Create and execute a transition plan for ongoing BAU (Business As Usual) data management, wif input from appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure that DQO, Data Stewards and any other teams taking delivery of the new processes and solution are engaged and understand the implications.
• Updates to any existing policies, procedures, Data Dictionary or other key data artefacts to be completed, prior to go live. Any applicable governance processes to be adhered to for changes to these policies and artefacts.
• Ensure appropriate Training documentation and support is planned
• Define and execute an audit review of the data to ensure it is ‘fit for purpose’. Sudoku will not be permitted to go into production unless the audit review determines that the data is correct.
• Investigate and resolve any data issues highlighted by the audit review.
• Ensure close cooperation wif other projects to ensure consistence data across S&N data systems
• Participate in Blueprint/Design workshops and represent the Global Data Quality interests
• Assist in creating project documentation defining all elements related to data quality management activities
• Assist in reviewing data model, approach, and project documentation wif key business and project team members
• Meet regularly wif the Global Data Quality team to ensure alignment between S&N standards, other projects, and robust communicationsWork in tandem wif the IT Analyst to extract, validate and load data per the project requirements during Realization/Build and unit testing
• Participate in all activities of testing in relation to data quality and master data management, to include development of test scenarios and test scripts, conduct functional, integration and user acceptance testing, and final data validation after the first deployment
• Support S&N’s Organization Change Management efforts to include defining appropriate end-user training to communicate data quality, controls, and usage of the data
• Conduct data quality audits as required by the Global Data Quality Team to help ensure standards are met
• Serve as the data quality expert throughout the project through at minimum first deployment and into the second phase Realization effort
• Work wif the Project Team and Global Data Quality Team to define appropriate service and support activities
• Conduct noledge transfer to the Global Data Quality Team after the first deployment to ensure a smooth transition
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business area and four (4) years related experience in data management; or Associates degree wif six (6) years’ experience
• Requires strong noledge of the following systems: Informatica and data profiling
• Require entry level to mid-level noledge of Sap production planning, material and sales data

• Able to demonstrate broad expertise in and practical noledge of information quality principles, concepts, methods, and skills
• Able to assess and communicate risks related to product data quality and/or resources
• Able to analyze problems, identify and specify solutions working wif the business and IT

• Strong organization and communications skills wif demonstrated ability to coordinate amongst stakeholders across organizational functions and sites
