  • I was the lead on include a real time EDI interface written in Pro*C deployed under Windows NT, Microsoft SNA Server and Oracle7 Server running on HP/Unix.
  • The SNA communications used the APPC protocol. Another project that I lead was the deployment of a fax server.
  • This software was developed in Forms 4.5 and Reports 2.5 under Windows 95 and Windows NT. Pro*C applications were developed that managed the Reports 2.5 output and the ZetaFax Fax server.

  • I was responsible for developing and administering an Oracle7 database that was used for the design and construction of a nuclear power plant in the Confidential.
  • The database was housed on a Sun/Solaris box in Pittsburgh and was accessed by several hundred engineers in Pittsburgh as well as Brussels, Belgium and at the plant site in the Confidential republic.
  • Responsibilities included developing a rigorous data auditing scheme via database triggers, develop complex table structures to store and retrieve various plant information, develop a complex scheme for “freezing” pieces of the database for design engineers.
  • Many tools were developed in Pro*C and PL/SQL to help manage this complex database.
