Project Description
- This project is aimed at maintaining, monitoring and supporting the BI software environments for GE. The primary deliverables included planning, installing, configuring and maintaining the IT infrastructure for GE and also debug and support the deliverables currently
- being utilized and developed by respective development and support teams of multiple vendors and that of GE.
- GEPS General Electric Power System Enterprise Data Warehouse is one of the largest Data Warehousing project to maintain all the data marts in centralized repository location. The purpose of the application is to provide an intensive DSS decision support system for the GEPS management. The applications, systems, and infrastructure are located in Atlanta, Schenectady, and Cincinnati.
Contribution
As an IT support lead is responsible for
- Coordinating with development project teams for objects migrations in to various environments
- Providing 24 7 support on the applications maintenance activities
- Providing support to all TSG Run Enabling Tools like Informatica, Cognos OBIEE and Service Now

- This Project involves providing day to day operations of IT systems for all Shop Floor Applications , engage right IT Support teams Desk side, site Network and telecom, facilities, ETS and corporate, application support communicate to all stakeholders
- It also includes to address the most pivotal business and technical/technology projects/issues first, in order to minimize the risk and improve the process
- Understand the manufacturing systems and processes, its critical information flows, and support requirements.

This projects is an 8/5 regular support and 24/5 on call production support.
