- Developed an Automatic Modulation Classification Algorithm, Signal interception plays an important role in military communications. However, due to the increasing density of the frequency spectrum, the problem of signal interception is becoming more difficult.
- Automatic Modulation Classification is done by calculating various statistical parameters, over the captured modulated signal and by autocorrelation modeling of the digital modulated signal. Results show that accurate identification of the modulation is done even at a poor SNR of 15db.
- Developed a Symbol rate Estimation of digital Modulated signals algorithm, Haar Wavelet transform is used to estimate Symbol rate of Digital modulated signals.
- Estimation of Symbol Rate of Unknown Digital modulated signal plays an important role in civilian communication applications such as Software Defined Radio and military applications such as intelligence gathering through intelligent Demodulators.
- Real time cycle accurate simulation of proposed algorithms is carried out using VDSP++ cross compiler, which has given good symbol rate estimate even for poor signal to noise ratio of 15db.
