Responsibilities:

E stablished, Supervised and trained the project team which migrated production data (1000+ tables and 20K + views) from the bank’s existent production Teradata box to another Teradata box, directing the users to the new box, which resulted in faster response and reduced the processing time on the first box.
Quantified and executed the NW and CA conversions (150+ applications); which enabled the bank to streamline their products across the country.
Designed entirely new applications to load the bank’s data using the Extract Transformation and Load (ETL) process. Extract using COBOL, SORT and other Mainframe dataset utilities, Transformation and Load using the Teradata utilities BTEQ, MLOAD, FastExport, TPUMP, FastLoad and TPT.
Programmed TPT jobs to extract data in a format consistent with the user’s needs.
Volunteered to be part of the team which analyzed and provided cost reduction solutions.
C ollaborated with the business users and Built Analytical queries and View DDLs involving complex joins with multiple tables and various conditions to assist with the business needs of the users.
