Production Document Control Lead
Responsibilities:
- Control the issuance, update, and status of Manufacturing Drawings, Bill of Material
- Coordinate and expedite critical manufacturing orders through the facility
- Communicate status of orders to the Manufacturing, Materials, and Quality departments
- Communicate with all manufacturing departments to ensure timely and accurate order completion
- Maintain effective and proper relations with internal customers or their representatives
- Help determine requirements from engineering and production schedules
- Monitor status of red - line changes required during manufacturing; turn in, track and schedule redline changes with drafting prior to next train need by date
- Manually ensure manufacturing (2 shifts) sign-off their work during production cycle within the build book
- Select and print required engineering drawings for all build departments-organize drawings for shop use: extract, store, print, arrange and validate all Mechanical and Electrical drawings
- Assist lead persons/supervisors/operators obtain task-specific engineering drawings
- Create Mechanical/ Electrical drawing packages for every department
