  • The ACG Forecaster structure is a PCExpress Version 4.8 database with an Express EIS front-end.

  • Sales projections were prepared statistically or manually.
  • Individual salesrep territory files are exported out of Forecaster and transferred to salesrep laptop’s via ExcelleNet.
  • Files are updated in Suncast, a spreadsheet application. Suncast was developed in Microsoft Visual Basic 4.0 using an underlying Microsoft Access database structure. A third party custom grid control call Formula One was used to develop the interface structure.

  • Developed new IMS application to keep track of VISA Credit Card purchases for CoreStates BankPurchases. Upon the arrival of a monthly file of outstanding VISA debits and credits, authorized users reconcile the total purchases of their Visa Statement against the on-line entries entered for the reporting period. System consisted of IMS MPP and BMP processing.
  • Part of a team to convert data for the Customer Subsystem of an Integrated Merged Health Care (IMHC) System. Other sub-systems included Chargebacks, Contracting, Product and Sales History. New system was developed on the AS/400 with SQL tables. Customer data was converted from mainframe applications. Conversion jobs and ongoing production synchronization jobs back to mainframe applications were developed using COBOL and SQL/400.
  • Converted S/36 data to an existing production MVS CICS VSAM system. The conversion was needed when Independence Bank became part of CoreStates Bank. The application was a Real Estate and Construction Finance System (CLCS, Data Select Systems, Inc. ). S/36 files were copied to tape and shipped. Tapes were received and files were downloaded to MVS sequential datasets. Files were run through a series of conversion programs. Conversion programs were modified extensively to satisfy user requirements.
