  • Converted COBOL programs in teh IFT application from Wachovia’s IMS/DC architecture to Wells Fargo’s CICS. Teh first converted program worked perfectly on teh first unit test; teh second was three bytes off on one screen, but Wachovia’s production version was found to be 3 bytes off and no changes were made.
  • Wrote new COBOL programs using both CICS (with channels and containers) and DB2 along with an MQ interface communicating with a Tandem system.
  • Contributed technical advice to a team lead on implementing a DB2 Sequence Object rather than relying on date or time to create unique transaction keys for teh Tandem system, thereby eliminating teh code associated with checking for duplicates.
