  • Worked on New Project to Convent the Current COBOL/CICS RX Inventory Management System Programs to a VB.Net Portal application. This project required understanding about 9 to 12 COBOL/CICS programs and then work to convert them to VB.Net but continue to use the existing DB2 tables that are being used by the COBOL/CICS programs as to creating new tables in SQL Server 2016.
  • Created a new Beauty Care Application (App) for the Rite Aid Beauty Advisor’s iPads. I have been involved in the full life cycle on this project. From initial requirement needs to Application design, Database design, Application coding using Visual Studio 2105 and C#, Database Creation with MS SQL Server 2106, and User Acceptance testing. Currently New Beauty Advisor iPad App is in Beta testing in about 8 different Rite Aid stores.
  • Have been involved with helping to convert both VB.Net Portal Applications and COBOL programs for the possibility that some of our store will be sold off to allow for us to merge with Walgreens.
  • The coding changes have required us to be able to determine if a user that logs on to the system is a Rite Aid user or a user from one of the diversified stores that we are still supporting.
  • This project has required me to make changes DB2 table queries and procedure. Then VB.Net applications being modified are using the OleDBConnection so that the portal applications can connect to the DB2 database and not to a SQL Server database.

  • This project had me working with SQL server 2012 and 2104 as well as the versioning tool GIT and GITHUB.
  • I worked to get programs that were stored is SourceSafe converted to using the GIT versioning Software, which required me to work with about 800 programs that had to be converted to using GIT tools and being able to access them through the GIT repository.
  • I also supported jobs that were involved with getting documents scanned and entered for the 2016 election. I had to make sure scanning programs where functioning correctly and scanning the proper fields that need to be scanned for each member running for the Senate.
  • Scanning software was written using VB.net and had to be updated for new printers that would all office of public records to scan more pages per hour. Each election package contained about 300 pages that had be scanned. Documents also had be created after scanning to show that the packet did get received on time and that all pages where scanned. The document then had to be e-mailed to the person running or re-running for the senate and a copy also had to be sent to the DOJ for legal reason. To record that the person running did get their documents in during the time frame require.

  • Worked with Members of Purisolve to help create a new import/upload process for the SWETRS (Service Wide Employment Tax Research System) as part of their Remote Data Entry (RDE) system.
  • I have worked very closely with members of the SWETRS team to do upfront analysis needed to understand what their needs were for the Import Upload process, including what types of forms they wanted to import and have uploaded to their oracle SWETRS database. I order to help create a while working Import/Upload application, several weeks of analysis meetings with their users were required to research and learn about the Employment applications process and about how tips must be reported to the IRS by Employers and Employees.
  • Worked with the Purisolve team members to help write the requirements document and help make needed changes to current Consolidated Design Document(CCD) to include all changes that were going to be made by our team including new applications being added to their RDE system as well as changes to the existing applications new stored procedures and changes to existing stored procedures.
  • Worked to create new .Net C# modules that would become part of the existing RDE to allow the IRS users to Import several types of excel files. The new process will allow user to select which type of excel file they which to import then allow to view the import file. Once the import is complete and user have viewed the imported version of the excel file the user can then upload the file. This will then update several different tables in the Oracle SWETRS database. The upload process required the creation of several new stored procedures using Oracle PA/SQL code
  • Worked to update existing RDE programs to accommodate the new fields that would now be modifiable due to the users being able to upload excel data to the SWETRS Database tables.
  • Helped to develop needed requirements for this new project by working with the IRS SWETRS business Team members.
  • Helped to develop the system test plans that would be used to test all of the changes made by our team.
  • Started new project to help get IRS SWETRS team over to SharePoint 2013. During the first phase of this project I worked mainly on requirements gathering at this point.

  • Performed maintenance and development on the Mortgage Back Securities System, this system was written in Natural/ADABASE. Development was for Loan Level Processing and Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act Processing.
