- Initially employed to address email instability and complete email migrations of acquired companies on a global scale.
- Current achievements are as follows.
- I’ve decommissioned 15+ Exchange 2003 servers including relays, service mailboxes, conference rooms, distributions list and contacts to an Exchange 2010 email infrastructure with little to no user impact.
- I migrated over 10 acquired companies, including mailboxes, user accounts, external and internal DNS records and SMTP relays.
- I Migrated 2000+ users off of FOPE to Websense MailControl.
- I Installed Red Hat and Ubuntu Linux SMTP servers to relieve process loads from the Exchange servers.
- I’ve revamped Active Directory Sites and Servers, internal and external DNS records to correct SMTP routes, GAL latency and Outlook connectivity problems.
- Administered Office 365 Exchange Online and maintained a mixed mode operation.
- I Migrated from Lync 2010 to Lync 2013 to create an in house collaboration technology to address the need for remote users, IT support, and business departments to corroborate with one another. With the F5 load balancers I’ve created multiple VIPs and Reverse Proxies for load balancing Exchange CAS arrays, SMTP relays, and Lync Mobile device connectivity as well as external conferencing.
- I’ve upgraded and administer F5 BigIP versions 9, 10, 11 - 11.6, LTM and GTM. Other tasks consist of managing my own VSphere farm for messaging and collaboration, internal and external email related records such as, SPF, DKIM and SRV records, topology design for Active Directory, load balancing of SharePoint servers and general security for email and email hygiene such as SPAM and system patching.

- Managed and maintained the messaging infrastructure.
- Migrated Exchange 2007 with an SCR disaster recovery site to Exchange 2010. Migrated OCS/GroupChat 2007 R2 to Lync 2010. Upgraded BES server 4 to 5 for black berry devices. Upgraded Rightfax server 8 to 9.4. Integrated Cisco Call Manager and CallXpress with Exchange 2007/2010.
- Managed Tumbleweed firewall server for secure email. Migrated from Postini to FOPE for email hygiene.
- Deployed MobileIron for alternative mobile email solution (BYOD). Other projects consisted of acquisitions and mailbox migrations, SQL database consolidations, P2V of messaging servers to virtual servers, records management with MOSS 2007 and 2010. AD RMS for the protection of sensitive email data.

Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities consisted of managing Server 2003, 2008 AD infrastructure, forest trust, and Exchange 2003/2007. Managed MOM 2005, and deployed SCOM 2007. Server monitoring was performed with, Watsup Gold, IPMonitor, and HP SIM for system health alerting.
- Created forest trusts and implemented all migrations and acquisitions. Architected and deployed the majority of the organizational topology revamp.
- Transitioned 5000+ users from Exchange 2003 to 2007.
- Email retention policies were designed in conjunction with EMC SourceOne archiving.
- Maintained email hygiene with Ironport C350 and ISA 2006.
- Managed exchange backups with Commvault/Simpana.
- Other responsibilities consisted of modifying ISA routes and publishing rules from the DMZ, DNS zones, DHCP scopes, ADSI objects, GPO's policy's, and registry changes also, worked with VMWare workstation, vCenter Server, Esx 3.5/4i to provide test environments for various departments and P2V of production servers.
