  • Design, install and support the enterprise networks of Confidential Company. Lead a team of network engineers responsible for enterprise routing, switching, wireless, voice, and network security in both data center and wide area environments.
  • As a primary duty have responsibility for routing and switching using a variety of Cisco routing and switching platforms. Routing platforms consist primarily of Nexus 7000, Nexus 2000, Nexus 5000, Catalyst 6500, and ISR and ASR routers. Switching platforms include Nexus, Catalyst 6500, Catalyst 3000, and 4000 series.
  • Currently near completion of a significant project to implement L2 extension between 2 data centers utilizing VPC over OC48 Sonet infrastructure.
  • Mange EIGRP for enterprise routing and eBGP for distributing routes at inter - company boundaries and to service provider MPLS clouds for connectivity to remote sites and Internet.
  • Built 2 new data centers one as a Tier 3. Involved in all aspects of data center design including power, cooling, underground fuel storage, security and cabling.
  • Serve as the primary engineer for site-to-site, remote access, and mobile data VPNs using Cisco ASA5500.
  • Designed and installed the wireless infrastructure using Cisco LWAPP access points and 5500 wireless controllers.
  • Maintain Cisco ACS and ISE servers used for wireless and wired authentication using 802.1x.

  • Perform network monitoring and management using Cisco Prime Infrastructure, WCS, HP Openview, Syslog, SNMP, Cisco ACS, and Wireshark.
  • Designed and installed OC48 Sonet ring network between 2 data centers and provider POPs.
