• For teh US Bankruptcy Court in Sacramento, CA. designing, building, configuring, test and implementation of two BlueCoat 600 Web accelerators to transfer teh customer’s SAN data from teh HQ data center to teh backup center 180 miles south. • One of a team of 5 engineers hired to perform an IOS upgrade, and build, test and implement a QOS build for Charter’s CPE switches which were primarily Cisco ME-3400’s.

• Helping resolve wireless issues to teh point of determining whether it is an actual wireless controller or WAP issue or a desktop config issue.
• We resolve teh network issues and hand off teh desktop config issues to desktop support.

• Primary duties were core/distribution layer upgrade of teh IBM/ Confidential &T Discover Card account in Columbus, OH and Dallas, TX.

• Teh Dallas site was 4 digit VLANS due to teh fact that was wat was inherited when IBM took over teh Discover Card account. Teh Columbus site has 3 digit VLANs.
• Teh new access switches has ACE and GSS modules due to teh number of applications and teh importance of security for those applications.
• All tier 2 and tier 3 work for 84 Cisco devices ranging from 2600 series through teh new 6506 routers and 2900 through teh new 6513 switches in Columbus and tier 3 work in Dallas for teh same equipment.
• A migration/conversion of teh VLAN configuration was done in Dallas prior teh core/distribution upgrade.
• Wrote teh config files for Columbus and Dallas redundant core routers and distribution switches ( 2 Catalyst OS 6509s being changed to two IOS 6506s and two 6513s), doing teh physical build, write and install teh config files, test, and put into production teh new routers and switches.
