Projects

1. Project for Verizon’s IVR Systems

  • The project involved developing a database that will enable the Verizon to toggle on and toggle off self service functionalities provided by the IVR system.
  • Aim: To develop a database that IVR system can use to direct the callers to the appropriate agents, based on their region, reason for call, line of business, and other customer specific parameters. Also, develop a web based system to interface with this database.
  • The technologies used were ASP .net, SQL Server 2005.

2. Online E-commerce Health Application

  • The site hosted a database of various food allergies along with recipes that would help avoiding these allergies.
  • Aim: To implement an online health application system, an E-commerce site for clients at Oklahoma State University Health Center.
  • The technologies used were Java Script, HTML, ASP .net, XML, Oracle database.

3. Predictive Modeling: Ethanol Production in USA

  • The project dealt with predictive modeling to be performed on customer database. This project is done as part of Data Mining Shootout 2009
  • Aim: To predict the three best counties and states in USA for plantation of EngeryGrass that can be used for Ethanol Production in the country.
  • The technology used was SAS (Enterprise Miner 5.3).

4. Predictive Modeling: Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma

  • The project dealt with predictive modeling on Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) database.
  • Aim: To determine how to decrease the number of Medicaid denials this helps the OSDH to recoup the lost dollars by developing a targeted campaign.
  • The technology used was SAS (Enterprise Miner 5.3).

5. Online Railway Ticket Reservation System

  • As a part of Undergraduate study, developed an online Railway Reservation System.
  • Aim: To develop online application that would help the travelers make an online ticket reservation, ticket cancellation and other enquiries related to trains arrival and departures.
  • The technologies used were Visual Basic and SQL server.
