- I have over 29 years of experience in information systems with increasing levels of responsibility from managing small teams (2 - 3 individuals) to my role as Head of IT Infrastructure. My technical background as a database administrator, application developer/designer, lead analyst, and UNIX system administrator have afforded me a unique understanding of the challenges that the IT organization faces each day. - During my tenure with BondDesk and Tradeweb, I was responsible for coordinating the SSAE16 (formerly SAS70) audits as well as customer audits of the corporate IT practices and procedures. I have received my Series 99 Operations Professional certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) which allows me to perform a variety of covered operational functions for broker dealer organizations.

Responsibilities:
- During my years of service with Tradeweb and BondDesk, I have held several different job titles with increasing levels of responsibility. In my most recent role as Director, I was responsible for direction setting and management of the database administration team which had members in both New Jersey and Michigan. During the acquisition of BondDesk by Tradeweb, I worked with the transition team and finance department to develop the budgets for both capital expenditures and operating expenses for the new combined organization. I was also responsible for many of the compliance related activities including SSAE16/SOC1 and customer audits.
- In my role as Head of IT Infrastructure I was responsible for the management, budget and strategic planning of all technology, infrastructure related activities. The groups that reported to me included networking, security, database administration, server administration, storage administration, desktop support, telephony support and facilities. I was responsible for a $9 million+ operating budget and $2 million to $4 million in annual capital expenditures. Employee performance management and career development were also key components of this job function.
- In my role as Oracle DBA Manager I was responsible for managing and directing the activities of a team of 4 Oracle DBAs. Handling of work assignments, project management, performance reviews and developing training plans were among my regular activities. This was also a hands-on position that afforded me the opportunity to be involved in many very challenging activities. I was responsible for the design and implementation of a 2-node Oracle RAC database that supports 50,000+ users. Application performance tuning, backup and recovery (RMAN) planning and implementation and disaster recovery testing were all part of my regular activities.

Responsibilities:- In my role with Confidential, I was the primary DBA responsible for the patching, maintenance and performance tuning of Oracle E-Business Suite release 11.5.8. I successfully managed the migration of the Oracle environment from the previous data center located in Ann Arbor, MI to one located in Limerick, Ireland.
- Upgrading the application environment to “second generation” Oracle Internet Expense was also a key project while at Confidential .
- The upgrade allowed multiple business units to consolidate from 2 separate Oracle installations into a single unified instance supporting over 1200 users.

Oracle DBA/Team Lead
Responsibilities:- I was the lead technical resource responsible for the installation and administration of releases 10.7 thru 11.5.9 of Oracle E-Business Suite applications in support of a large military subcontractor. In this environment, support was provided to users from the U.S., Canada and Germany from a single instance database.
