Responsibilities:

  • First - contact support for Database 2 Universal Database for Linux, Unix & Windows.
  • Questions ranged from how-to, more detailed analysis, tuning problems, defects, and root cause analysis of crashes.
  • Most required detailed product knowledge.
  • Within 6 weeks of being transferred to this new area was answering more questions than any other team member (4 in total including me). By the end of 2008 had answered 30% of all questions while achieving a 95% customer satisfaction rating. Articulate in both written and verbal contexts: 75% of the responses were via email, 25% by phone.
  • Approximately twice weekly answered high severity problems received from the UK, Australia and India.
