• performed all Oracle database administration tasks on five Data warehouses and three ApplicationXtender databases on AIX, including installations/upgrades/patching, backup/recovery, cloning, monitoring, database and sql tuning, application and production support starting with Oracle version 7.3.4 though version 12. • Upgraded Employer Services Database (ESDB) from standalone 11.2.0.4 database on AIX to Suse Linux 12 RAC Oracle 12.1.0.2 database on ASM storage.
• Create shell scripts to automate the Data Ware House loads to detect new interface files to execute SQL Loader scripts, reducing monthly load from one week to one day and the weekly load from two days to four hours. Upgraded the Stat standalone 11.2.0.4 Oracle database on AIX to a 2 node RAC Oracle 12.1.0.2 database on Suse Linux. Setup backups using RMAN with Commvault. Created Ansible playbooks to automate upgrade of Stat Oracle agent software to version 6.1 on 35 AIX and 2 Suse Linux servers reducing upgrade by 6 hours.
