Responsibilities:

  • Money Market Reform Redemption Gates and Liquidity Fees compliance at FIS. Designed and implemented impacts to 3270/CICS, Web Interface, API/MQSeries, Data Connect, and batch processing in a Unix environment. Required Creation of a new Oracle table and the repurposing of columns in pre-existing tables. Project utilized Agile methodology and was implemented via three sprints. Was a key contributor in the daily scrum meetings.
  • Omnibus Rights of Accumulation Integration: Enabled external omnibus account holdings to be used when determining pricing breakpoints for ROA/LOI. Modifications impacted 3270/IMS DC, API/MQSeries, and batch processing. Created a new DB2 table to house the omnibus holdings.
  • Shareholder Activity Tracking for Escheatment Processing: Included new development for API shareholder account options where web replaced IMS DC front-end. Also created and developed Excel spreadsheets for mass entry and a process to upload CSV files to the mainframe and process them.
  • DTCC 529 Account Aggregation: Implemented Franklin Templeton as an Aggregator, which summarized 529 Plan investments for a plan/beneficiary across dealers and returned summarized information to dealers. Created a new DB2 table to house DTCC F11 aggregation record values, along with several JCL jobstreams to load incoming and unload/transmit outgoing DTCC files.
  • DTCC Omnibus Fee Invoicing and Settlement: Automated the manually intensive process for 12b-1, CDSC, Underwriting Fee Adjustments, Short Term Redemption, and Finders Fees. Created four new DB2 tables to house DTCC Summary, Cusip, Rate, and Account record information.
  • DTCC Omni/Serv Reconciliation: Included accrual adjustments and direct transfers transaction types to enable Omnibus dealers to reconcile their accounts via Networking Activity Files. Involved modifications to batch processing and repurposing of obsolete DB2 columns.
