Responsibilities:
I was responsible with Database capacity planning (that included space capacity planning), Database creation, design, implementation, maintenance and the cloning of Databases for the Confidential Department of Education. I've upgraded and tested database software patches and new versions of Oracle 10g and above plus I have experience with Oracle 12c Cloud Control. I've performed SQL tuning using Explain plans and TOAD. I've provided advice to the System analysts with respect to how to better write their SQL. I'd used Disaster Recovery strategies such as Oracle DataGuard, RMAN, Expdp/Impdp and I've written scripts in both Windows/UNIX environments. I was the project team leader for the State Accounting office and DOAS e-Procurement systems this included the administration of the Production Training Databases Administration of the 10g/11g Production databases duties included tuning database SQL's, applying both the latest updated modules for PeopleSoft and Oracle software. Other duties included backup and recoveries using RMAN recovery manager. While working with a team of four DBA’s I would have to take turns as a weekly on-call DBA and I was responsible for the operation of the production batch jobs and the Databases that were accessed in the evening.

Oracle Data Conversion DBA
Responsibilities:
Provided Data Conversion from various sources such as DB2, lower level of Oracle and over 300 excel spreadsheets. I also did Database tuning on initialization parameters and other Database objects such as
