Key Accomplishments:

• learned to configure and administered Peoplesoft version 8.43 in a production environment running over a 10.4 Oracle Database 3/4 of a terabyte is size, stored in ASM in UNIX and Intel server environments.

Key Accomplishments:

• Oracle application server software installation test. Included iterations of web enabling several core applications in a web farm test environment. Utilized the J-developer kit as well as several other Oracle client plug-ins.
• Installed and configured an Oracle 11 database to prototype our Transaction Log Assistant application. Also supported a Telephony Architecture Replacement app11rg2 RAC cluster database and an the Transaction Log Assistant 11gr2 veritas clustered database in production.
• Supported an 11Gr2 database that 15 customer nitch apps under it with a user base of 150 users.The front end apps were written in .net and used IIS mid tier web app software to connect to the database.
• Installed and configured an Oracle 10G database to prototype our Transaction Log assistant application. Testing is in progress, toward the conversion and consolidation of this app to one server from 5 separate servers on top of a UNIX operating system.
• Accountable for core database support for the TLA Transaction Log Assistant and capapp Central Answering Point applications. Including completion of an Oracle version 9.2.0.6 upgrade and move of capapp to new, faster server technology. On tap is the consolidation of TLA into a UNIX server environment moving away from the current architecture of multiple copies of the same database residing on local Intel servers.
• Participate in the movement and upgrade of the dasp/cems/persins to more efficient Sun Solaris hardware technology, while upgrading our databases to 9.2.0.1 Oracle. Deployed and installed new features like automatic undo space management, replacing the old rollback segment management techniques. Went to standby database technology, for fail over, which replaces Solaris clustering technologies. Worked with new features like hot Tuning to performance tune the database and retain high availability.
• Installed and configured the Oracle 10g web server software on Solaris. Configured Enterprise manager to work as part of the installation. Worked on the deployment of the CSF Customer Service File application from betrieve to Oracle. Assisted the primary DBA with all tasks data conversion, DB setup, application DBA tasks required as part of the support that related to the deployment.
• Completed move and reconfiguration of test environment to an upgraded test box, while simultaneously upgrading existing test databases from 8.1.5/ 9.2.01 to 9.2.0.3. Completed re-stratification of space utilization to formalize a test environment for cems and persins. This work enabled more efficient deployment for future architecture enhancing flexibility.
