Dell PowerEdge enterprise servers R240, R440, R740 running Red Hat/Centos 6.x/7.x, Tomcat 8, Java 1.8, Apache 2.2.29 and 2.4.16, NGINX {OpenResty 1.12.x.x)
Oracle enterprise servers T-4 running Solaris 10/11, Weblogic 12C java clusters servers, Oracle database HA 12g and Apache 2.2.29.
To address shared storage for windows clients, linux/Unix clients I developed and implemented a solution based on Veritas NFS Cluster running on Solaris 10 servers for Unix/linux clients and added samba, Kerberos to join windows machines clients with Active Directory.
The shared storage is provided by SAN storage servers EMC VNX 5500, EMC VNX2 5600, Hitachi AMS 2500 and G400 with 600 TB disk space and monthly growth of approximately 10 TB.
To synchronize both data centers in California & Colorado I upgraded and implemented a new version of rsync tool with incremental cache with wrapper to use UDP instead of TCP just the way Aspera does to address back logs from the old version of rsync.
Our networks use cisco switches, gateways and routers and F5 for load balancers managed by network team.
To improve the platform I added the following services:
Enhanced new mail servers running the latest Linux kernel on Centos7, I packaged the latest mail server postfix 3.1 source code into rpm executable format with new TLS, DKIM &DMARC that will handle encrypted email services with signatures because before emails were rejected for the absence of TLS, DKIM & DMARC. TLS provides certificate-based authentication and encrypted sessions. An encrypted session protects the information that is transmitted with SMTP mail. DKIM & DMARC provide SPF record checks.
Upgraded monitoring system Nagios with the latest version of Linux server Centos 7, latest version of Apache 2.4.12 and latest Nagios Confidential with https support to encrypt usernames, passwords and texts because before we can detect easily usernames and passwords
Contributed to recover from the EMC VNX 5500 failure following 2 failed disks in raid 5 group that had brought down the whole SAN on with the complete loss of IT, Corporate and engineering data. This recovery turned catastrophe to running system without any loss following procedures related to file systems integrity checking.
Devised, installed and configured the infrastructure of data analytics Logi for development, corporate and production environment that include cluster of apache servers 2.4.12, tomcat 8 and jdk 1.8 & mysql 5.7 running on Centos 6 OS on AMAZON Cloud. Tis tool is very useful for reporting.
Setup and configured LAMP stack that included Apache 2.4.12, PHP 3.5 and Mysql 2.6 and all open sources required on both Red hat 6 and 7 and Centos 6/7 on VMS that will serve as models for all applications.
Setup ejabberd cluster environment for chats that include new features such as web sockets on Centos 7 for both QA and Production.
Contributed to running and maintaining the Confidential platform infrastructure both in QA and Production and resolving issues and addressing growing needs such as set up new based Solaris/Linux servers
