Analyze the system and user databases and tables to ensure timely and efficient operational functionality, and ensure that the databases were normalized to the company proprietary standards. The multi gig transaction log folder would then be cut and pasted over to a multi-terabyte external hard drive which would be connected to the backup server. This procedure would take approximately two hours if troubleshooting was not involved as troubleshooting would extend the database maintenance procedure allotted time.
