Responsibilities:

  • The project is governed by Confidential bank and Confidential where Confidential is responsible for all the transaction taking place in remote areas, via Point of Sale (POS) device.
  • The transaction hits the application server which connects to the database server for carrying the relevant transaction.
  • The database needs to connect with other Confidential bank databases via Database links for validating the customer authentications and account details for completion of transaction.
  • My scope of work in this project was to check the database is up and running, while performing housekeeping jobs, creating automation scripts for Rman and Export backups for keeping database up to date for any critical situation.
  • Index rebuilding and stats gathering scripts were also implemented during project go live state.

  • From the work I did in my previous project my organization awarded me with new Database Implementation project for launching new product in the banking domain.
  • The project entailed enabling the people living in small towns to perform transaction using biometric devices called kiosk devices.

  • The project was undertaken by Confidential, where all the interbank transaction comes to Confidential EPH database.
  • The primary role was to implement the Oracle Database in rac environment, where the scope of work involved coordinating with Confidential bank infrastructure team, providing requirement for creating RAC database physical servers, for installation of the Oracle Clusterware and database software.
