- Senior Oracle DBA - maintain oracle database environments: upgrades, patching, cloning of environments, backup/recovery, writing shell scripts for scheduled jobs. Installed Oracle Access Manager and configured eapps.cfg and callcenter OM with single signon. Updated Oracle OHS httpd.conf with virtual hosts to enable hostname to be hidden from Siebel CRM URL. Worked with network personnel to set up F5 VIP to front the Siebel CRM environment. Additional typical duties include moving srf, export/import of repositories from one env to another, running ddlsync. Ongoing clone of prod to test and dev environments. Installed Trillium software, set up SOA environment to allow for Siebel integration with oracle EBS environment via BPEL queues.
- OBIEE administrator - Initial installation of OBIEE 11.1.1.5 environment and setup of security via ldap. Upgraded OBIEE environment from 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6. Typical duties included moving RPD files, setting up and maintaining oracle weblogic app server environment, security, etc.
- Hyperion Planning - Initial setup of environment and worked on upgrade from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.4. Installation of essbase, creating backup/recovery scripts. Assisting Hyperion developers to create mappings in ODI between Hyperion Planning cubes and oracle EBS tables. Used ODI to export work repositories from one environment to another to copy interfaces. Created ODI standalone agent to enable Hyperion developers to run inferfaces remotely from their installed versions of ODI studio (access to windows server was not allowed).
