I am the owner of my own small bakery in Corsicana, Texas. I produce a small volume of baked goods for local events, restaurants, and private buyers. I also do small event catering locally. Administrative Secretary/Office Manager
I was responsible for the assembling of classified files and daily maintenance and updating of files. I ran errands, planned events, contacted various medical offices, made medical appointments for children, compiled all information from various caseworkers and kept all employee’s updated on current events, created monthly newsletters and agency brochures, handled all paperwork dealing with medical and therapy related contracts, performed background checks, planned annual training for foster parents, ordered all necessary items for running multiple office locations, assisted in payroll and expense reporting, settled disputes for payment and insurance, created handbooks and training manuals. I was assigned multiple HR tasks such as maintaining compliance with Labor Laws, updating employee files, keeping track of employee time off and processing of new employees. I was responsible for creating all databases and setting up the office from its opening in May 2010. During which time we underwent many successful state inspections and went from a provisional license to a permanent agency license. I also was responsible for keeping minutes in meetings, organizing information given at staff meetings and distributing it amongst the agency.

I accurately type at 60 WPM currently. I have also served as a Notary for the state of Texas in the past.
