Identification of an unknown Ascogregarina spp. within the mosquito species Aedes japonicas
Captured any Aedes spp using a grav trap and separated them according to each respective species
Rear each Aedes spp. in order to collect eggs, then cross infect each container breeding mosquito species with each species of Ascogregarina spp. and assess its presence and effect
Infected container bred mosquitoes with the La Crosse virus to asses changes in behavior i.e. feeding habits, determine virulence through virus titers and showcase to the local community on how to prevent infection from mosquitoes
