  • Obtain and locate parts, appropriate paperwork, online instructions and required procedures. Verify part number, serial numbers and that quantity matches paperwork. Ensure tools used by the shop to fabricate wires have been approved by tooling inspections.
  • Lay out wires to establish reference points and check dimensions. Install required sleeving, perform solder sleeve, heat shrink, terminate wires and crimp contacts. Insert contacts and assemble connectors, torque connectors to close. Install appropriate ID labels on each connectors.
  • Perform lean manufacturing and follow hazardous material disposal to ensure adequate safety and maintenance with respect to compliance of Federal Administration and Boeing directives.
