Responsible for producing testing tools of a Backward Data Bridge to
Update VSAM datasets using full files of SAP Tables. Yamaha is converting
mainframe applications to SAP, however there were some applications that needed
to continue running on the Host. Testing tools needed to be written to update existing
application with information from the SAP Tables. These testing tools programs needed to evaluate the CICS log dataset for online programs and production batch schedule dataset to determine which Programs would be affected for the back data bridge. The testing tool programs used to update the information on the mainframe with the SAP data, were CICS command written in Cobol using Xpediter, and batch programs used File-Aid to verify
JCl, PROCS and Copybooks that needed to be changed for program testing.
