Developed parameterization methods for dynamic design of Pratt Whitney Canada Gas Turbine Engine Control Systems, In this research project, a new controller tuning method has been developed based on the direct analysis and modified genetic algorithm (GA) method. The modified GA method presents a fast and reliable search mechanism to find the optimal solution. The system dynamic performance with the PI gains determined from this new method shows better performance than some traditional methods. This system was developed using C#, Winform and Matlab.
