· A92 Upgrade, was responsible for all conversion programs. The number of conversion programs written during this project exceeded 60. One of the primary goals of the conversion programs was a redesign of the Business Unit, making it more uniform across all Sony companies with the objective of rolling out Business Unit Security.
· Support J.D. Edwards World A7.3(RPG) and A9.2(RPG) Financial Systems for AR, AP, GL, and Multi Currency, and Purchase Order Systems. Lead Application Developer – Project Lead
· Responsible in Lead Role of Vendor Portal Project. Project scope was to provide an Internet Application for use by Tiffany external vendors. The initial project is to allow the vendors to provide engineering information for Integration into JDE / Oracle. Responsibility was to gather various requirements through weekly team meetings, along with individual user contact. In a full life cycle and phased approach, provided Feasibility, Requirements, and Design Documents through each step of the development process. Interfaces to populate new product information into the Portal were developed. The system is design in a highly configurable fashion allowing the users through “Enterprise One” interfaces to control the data propagation process. Further interfaces are provided for the integration of Bills and Routings back into JDE. This project provided Tiffany with the ability to plan and provide materials to its external resources; the end goal is to ensure the origins and quality of raw materials. The system also provides Tiffany a limited degree of capacity analysis.
· The ability to provide application interfaces to the vendor community is very powerful and consequently other departments have scheduled projects of their own i.e. Acquisition Schedules, Purchase Order Confirmations, Vendor Score Cards, Technical References, Quality Assurance, component Receipt Confirmations, and many more.
· Responsibilities have grown to providing requirements and direction to as many as ten other developers. It is necessary for me to coordinate the efforts of various groups and technologies i.e. Web developers, Enterprise One developers, RPG (World) Developers. The implementation of this project involved interfacing with various groups inside Tiffany including, but not limited to Web Services, Data-Mirror(Data Replication), Database, and Information Security.
