• Title: “FNR –French Retail Banking”

Scope: Within FNR, BNP Paribas uses FileNet application to receive Trade related documents from various platforms like Manual upload, Electronic upload, SWIFT message then FileNet converts these documents to User readable format & store the documents for MO or BO reference. MO stands for Middle Office processors & BO stands for Back Office Processors.

• Title: “WORKFLOW Management”

Scope: Once the document is present in FILENET it is ready for processing. Depending on the Complexity of the business scenario the transaction can go through several stages of scrutiny which is referred as 3 or 4 or 5 Eye principle. Accordingly every Officer has different set of rights & privilege, it is the Workflow management system that decided what kind of Transaction needs how many levels of inspection i.e. Eye Principle and which Officers queue it is suppose to reach. Lastly based on the credibility, officer can further take decision on that transaction processing.

• Title: “MTS –Money Transfer System”

Scope: In UAT we test Cash Payment portal named MTS wherein banks can do high value payments processing, do payments in foreign currency. MTS enhancement is an ongoing process as it helps the bank in increasing the number of payments processing transactions via more of STR i.e. straight through processing and thereby reducing the cost incurred by banks due to error & thus increasing the efficiency by doing it right the first time.This was a mainframe system.

• Title: “LVB – Low Value Box processing”

Scope: Like MTS, LVB is also used in processing payment transactions which are of low value like Draft, GIR, and ATK. Where ATKs are paper instruments & GIRo are electronic messages.LVB is widely used for low value bulk payments like Salary/Payrolls, ECS, and Tax deductions. Here again we in UAT test the enhancement functionalities requested by Operations team.

Scope: The paper instruments used by bank are processed, issued, printed at check engines.

• Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing testing (User Acceptance Testing) of several simultaneous high-profile Citibank Trade Related Information processing application projects like CitiDirect, Whitelabel, TRIMS, TITAN.

Achievements:

• Prepared a Root Cause Analysis tracker and suggested ways that will help to automate the report from system with less manual intervention, which is now used as a baseline.
