  • As Lead Engineer developed Equipment Preservation Data Sheets for the LTAS (Long Term Armor Strategy) program. Wrote and developed packaging standards for 16 truck models working with suppliers to develop universal packaging that was utilized on all platforms. These revised standards led to a reduction in shipping materials costs and reduced storage costs.
  • Project leader on LTAS cab armor kit packaging. Spent two years designing and developing reusable packaging for cab armor kit, including armor paneling, ballistic windows, and all hardware. Developed an in house packaging line methodology to package kits. Received the only recognition award during the project for exceptional performance and perseverance beyond expectation.
  • Performed as the packaging representative for all engineering change proposals. Reviewed engineering changes, determined impact on packaging design, and wrote impact statements detailing packaging changes for submission to government entities.
  • Carried out the key role for any in-house special packaging projects, including: design packaging for kits packed in-house, publishing work instructions and packing lists for workers on the packaging line, coordinated with vendors to order packaging materials for expedited delivery, assisted manufacturing engineering in designing and implementing packaging lines.
