As part of the requirement, GCC being the old usage of the copybooks and its size of the numeric fields haven't increased since long. So now as the business growing great it had to expand all the amount fields. The amount fields means the premium fields, claimed amount fields and etc.
Version 6 to version 7: The old amounts fields being the version 6 and the new size of the fields being the version 7. As part of this change, the entire systems i.e. modules are being affected like the statements, receipts and reports. So a detailed analysis of the system change impact is conducted to vigil the change. All the copybook layouts , input file and output files to the downstream and upstreams are listed as part of this change and impact of the programs to be changes were in huge number.
