Objective

Seeking contract positions that allow me to work in a production support capacity supporting the Infor/ GEAC E:Series applications. Contract assignments ideally would be split between onsite and remote support. I have performed remote support very successfully, typically spending one week a month onsite with the balance performed from my Farmington Hills Michigan office.

Responsible for the Production Support of the GEAC:E Payroll/Personnel, Information Expert & Data Communications Interface applications. Production Support consists of monitoring Online and batch production runs between the 24 hours a day seven days a week for abnormal conditions and implementing the appropriate resolution.

Confidential,1991 - 1994: Employed as a Senior Programmer Analyst responsible for the upgrade of the GEAC:E series Materials Management Cluster to release MG9401. The project included the installation of Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Common Components, Inventory, and the Sterling Software EDI modules. Other duties include retro fitting user modifications, applying split file support to newly developed ancillary systems, conversion of ancillary systems from VS COBOL to COBOL II standards, developing a multitude of Information Expert reports. Developed and implemented an interface between Accounts Payable and the Medipac systems. Designed specification and implemented programs to close purchase orders by setting all indicators to a closed status, to allow the purge process to function correctly.
For same medical services facility, responsible for the conversion of several medical facilities from the continental materials management system to GEAC:E Material Management system. The Project included developing a test batch and on-line environment, data conversions, testing, JCL development, and system testing. Other duties include creating processing schema to handle EDI transmissions for three hospitals, creating modifications to the existing GENTRAN EDI software to allow for differences between the medical facility and their trading partners and mapping data EDI data to the GEAC:E Material Management systems.

For the same medical services facility, responsible for the support and new development of the Sterling Software Vision Flashpoint GUI product. GUI designs include processing flows for the GEAC:E Purchasing and Inventory Products for over 50 Runtime modules at several hospital locations. Additional responsibilities included developing a modification to interface manual GEAC:E payroll adjustments, reversals, and on-line checks to an in-house Paid-Time-Off (PTO) subsystem. The modification included on-line changes, user master file segment manipulation and other ancillary modifications.

Confidential,1987 - 1991: Employed as the Senior Systems Consultant for the implementation of all GEAC:E/M Financial and Human Resources applications for a multitude of client sites. Responsibilities included, interviewing, hiring and training of additional office personnel. Initial account liaison responsible for the introduction of services to new accounts. Confidential,1985 - 1987: employed as a programmer analyst responsibilities included, GEAC:E Series trouble-shooter and primary contact for each plant location and users with GEAC:E processing questions or problems. Responsible for the testing, maintenance, Information Expert support, and user support for the six plant locations.

For same automotive supplier, converted GEAC:E Fixed Assets system from batch to an on-line real-time environment. The project included job stream modifications. User training, parallel testing. Acted as Project Manager during the GEAC:E payroll conversion to Automated Data Processing Payroll.
