- Single Sign-on/Proximity system for Emergency Rooms, Lead Engineer. - ER staff needed a proximity badge that would log them in upon approach asking for only one password to access a number of different patient database applications and then log staff out upon walk away. Info needed to follow staff from PC to PC. System is HIPPA and SOX compliant and was engineered using Novell's Single Sign-on and e-Directory, Xyloc proximity badges, Citrix, MS Windows and Active Directory.
- Bindview Network Security tools - BV Audit and Net Inventory systems Enterprise-wide. - Lead Engineer and administrator. Analyzed needs, created and implemented MS Project plan, built system servers, installed and maintained SQL backend, diagnosed WAN issues, installed software, installed and tested agents per environment to co-exist with over 1000 different applications. Administered BV Audit to design and run reports on Security Metrics needed for HIPPA, SOX and internal Security Standards compliance. Administered Net Inventory, used it to design and run reports on hardware and software inventory and to gain licensing information on all applications installed on the network. Developed curriculum and led training for all campus administrators.
A team member of these Trinity Health projects:
- Novell Identity Management. - An effort to synchronize all e-Directory trees with one Active Directory tree to be used as an identity vault and using the GroupWise database as the 'source of truth' to provide reduced sign-on and administration capabilities.
- Move to new data center. - Documentation, shutdown removal, reinstallation and startup of 200+ Windows and Novell servers. I inventoried and created sever database and labeled all servers/racks.
- ZenWorks 6 - assisted in the design and setup of ZenWorks 6 used to deliver applications.
