- Disconnecting existing peripherals from IBM X41 workstations. Remove existing IBM X41 workstations (PC, keyboard and mouse). Install new HP workstations (PC, flat screen monitor, sound bar, power strip, keyboard and mouse). Connect existing peripherals to the new HP workstation. Neatly bundle all workstation cables. Image the workstation using the standard imaging process (PXE boot workstation to download image from local file server). Perform workstation validation to ensure proper operation. After physical removal from each workspace, the existing IBM X41 Workstation, the following is performed: Hard drives are wiped, using our provided software and documentation. Any workstations that do not successfully complete the disk wipe process has their hard drives physically removed from the PC and are returned to our customer using the process outlined within the provided documentation. Move all of the old workstations, keyboards, and mice to an area designated by the banking center personnel for pickup by the customer's disposal vendor.
