Using SQL Server with a VBA shell developed two systems - a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and an Operating Budget database for two departments controlling nearly 30% of the annual City budget. Interface with SAP and BRASS was required for timely costing.
Developed an Activity-Based Costing system for the Water Services Department’s Customer Services Division. The system provided unlimited tracking of employee productivity as well as the association of costs with activities. Approximately 300 employees in ten locations were initially tracked. Interface with SAP was required for cost figures.

Created VBA algorithms to encapsulate dynamic business rules for the hospital industry. Worked closely with the San Diego, CA architectural firm Moon & Mayoris to facilitate the planning phase of hospital facility construction. A key hurdle was to design the system such that complex changes to the business logic could be made at the table level by a user instead of a programmer. This was accomplished by dynamically building code at run-time, just prior to execution.
