Technical Analyst III
As a Technical Analyst, I was responsible for the day-to-day technical and administrative needs of the Lowe’s Business Satellite Network. I determined the type of satellite terminals to be installed in each site, coordinated the installation of that equipment and managed the annual operations budget for the network. Additionally I negotiated service agreements and hardware pricing with the satellite network service provider. I also ensured the network complied with all FCC regulations and that all licenses were current. I negotiated with local government agencies to obtain permits for communications equipment required at new store sites. I also coordinated multi-million dollar equipment roll-out projects. Additionally, I managed the implementation of Lowe’s first video teleconferencing network from concept to completion. This project included the design and integration of an executive video teleconference center.
