Confidential, is a global e-commerce business which helps user to make payments and money transfers through the Internet. They offers different credit product to customers, 'Funding Source', which is a way to pay money during checkout in payment flow like send money, merchant checkout, eBay checkout and mobile payment. The most profitable funding sources are PayPal balance, bank account, external Credit Card and PP Credit. PayPal Financial Products, a.k.a. FinProd, includes both Credit and Debit products. The primary goal of the project was to significantly improve the execution time of existing regression cycles and increase the total number of execution cycles for both the major products. Secondary task was to find out the uncovered test cases and add functionality to existing Java and Selenium based automation framework.

Project involved working on Unovon's Order Automation System which consists of two modules - Customer Management and the Credit Card Processing. Validations are performed on the data and stored in an Oracle. The Credit Card Processing module gathers the credit card details from the customer and sends the details to the payment gateway for authentication after a client side validation for the credit card number type and expiry date.
