2007 – 2011 Confidential, Vancouver, BC

  • Programmed, in assembly language, the microcontroller of a self-made small electrical car using that moves by reading the signals given off by a wired track attached to a function generator.
  • Worked with a team of classmates on a piece of gamming software, a top down scrolling shooter, using Java for a software engineering class. The game was a hit among my colleagues and classmates, which provided them hours of arcade fun.
  • Worked with a team of classmates on a cell phone application of a pseudo 3D traversable map of UBC campus using Java.
  • Worked with a team of classmates, using Java, on a custom command line operating system that performs basic file editing operations.
  • Programmed, using SQL, the data base of an ebay-like online auction house for a class project. This application was highly praised by the professor and teaching assistants alike and earned myself a great grade in that project.
  • Worked, for a fourth year project course, as a software project analyzer and tester, using Java, on a piece of elevatorcontrol system software that simulates the functions, including security and maintenance, of up to 10 elevators.

2011 – 2012 Confidential, Vancouver, BC

  • Working on the development of a wireless patient monitoring system.
  • Programmed the microcontroller attached to an electrode, using nesC, to read and process (filtering) the electrocardiography (ECG) of the patient and display them on the computer as colored graphs.
