- Upgraded and performed routine maintenance on Sprint/Nextel Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (IDEN) 800 and 900 megahertz radio equipment.
- Responsibilities included replacing and upgrading of the Gen 4 and Pre-Gen 4 “wide band” duplexers and the Integrated Site Controller (ISC2). This task required knowledge and experience in the reconfiguration of the rack and other components to accommodate the newer smaller ISC3 controller. The task also required the reroutes of both the Ethernet and 5 megahertz cables to all sectors in that site’s configuration.
