- With the development of the website I worked directly as a liaison between the design team and client executives to manage the develop documentation and architectural structure for the system. - Chamber of Chat Adventure is one of my earlier virtual worlds and was solely developed by a group of two individuals. Before Flash was advanced to handle such development we used Adobe Director and programmed with Lingo a verbose language similar to AS3 and Java. A second version was developed in Flash AS3 with Facebook hooks. My direct tasks was planning, design concepts for the virtual world, website design, website member management system and CMS, code correcting for the AS3, Java, and Lingo and troubleshooting in the virtual world code base, hosting setup and integrating the various technologies. We used shockwave multiuser server at first then upgraded and created our own connection bridge with SmartFoxServer a newer and well supported mulit-user technology . The Harry Potter Chamber of Chat Adventure has won the Adobe Site of the Day a placement on the SmartFoxsServer Showcase and numerous magazine and web article recognitions.
- Kid Command is one of the newer online virtual world/social game systems I worked on. I managed a team of 7 to 15 individuals in every aspect of the project including code development . It is an eco-friendly themed, unique mixed style of MMO and game play. Kid Command system contains games that grant special items in which players can move on the fun platform style Quests. I was the primary project manager and architect for the vast majority of the documentation bible. I devised the structure and the bases for all systems that were implemented by the group. Also it was imperative to use our own flavor of the SCRUM process project management style to properly review code implementation for proper optimization and security between Java, SFS, PHP, MySQL, AS3 and Google Analytics integration. It was also important to expand on how art was to be generated and animated Maya for pre-rendered 3D, Max for terrains and Flash for 2D based on the clients wants and needs. Kid Command has won the Adobe Site of the Day award as well as a place on the SmartFoxServer showcase.
