Convert the I Series DB2 database to I Series SQL database. Converted physical files to SQL tables, converted the old physical files to logical files retaining the old physical file name avoiding the necessity of recompiling the legacy programs. Designed, programmed, and implemented the AS400 environment for the corporate credit evaluation system. This system employed the use of a middleware product called MQ Series. The MQ Series allowed the AS400 and the RS6000 to interact via messages that were converted by the communication product. Designed a temporary test system on the RS6000 to allow the initial installation test of the MQ Series product. All AS400 programs were written in RPG ILE with the exception of the receiving trigger monitor on the AS400 system for parallel testing with the production AS400.
